Travelling OGC Juniors take 3rd spot at national Scottish Golf: Golf Sixes tournament.

Wow. What an amazing weekend.

Last month Orkney golf club juniors qualified for the golf 6s Nationals, which was played today, Sunday 1st.

Our juniors made the long trip to Dunning golf club (via a rather rocky boat trip on Friday) where the finals were taking place.

Today, against 6 other teams our juniors played some of their best golf – battling out against the other teams to try and claim a prize.

We are so extremely proud to say our juniors Gregor, Kellan, James, Lewis Ewan and Woody came in with a score of 129 points making them rank in at

THIRD PLACE

We could not of made this trip if it hadn’t of been for your generous lot backing the juniors with such support.

It’s been a wonderful experience for our juniors and they’ve come away with memory’s that will last them a lifetime.
